Comment: This item is high tech and low tech at the same time. It is no miracle product but it's useful. Give your kitty, or your feet, or that place that aches, a gentle treat: heat up the Snugglesafe in the microwave, wrap it in soft things, and put it where it's needed. Like contents of a Thermos, it doesn't stay very warm for very long, but it stays warmer than its surroundings for hours.
I heated mine in a 25-year-old microwave for 7 minutes this morning. It has been 8 hours, and is still 6 degrees F (3.3d C) warmer than surfaces a few inches from it. That can make all the difference between "brr-r-r-r" and "Oh, not too bad today."

Summary: It is NOT "bite resistant!"
Comment: My 7 month old puppy chewed through the outer covering in about 1 or 2 unattended minutes. The company in England was not helpful at all. Neither was the US distributer.

Summary: Bought for my dog. Use it for myself.
Comment: This handy little disc is so much less mess than a hot water bottle, holds heat longer, and never seems to wear out. I bought one for my aging dog but ended up using it to warm up my own bed before I climb in. I'm getting two more now for gifts.

Comment: Works well, pets love it. Just don't microwave for longer than 5 minutes. It will melt and be destroyed.
